I didn't feel a thing!

August 19, 2016.... I was watching my friends children. I had just been put on "bedrest" the day before because my blood pressure was a little high at my 38 week appointment. So I went to the restroom and my panties were wet but I assumed it was discharge, so I cleaned myself up and went back to babysitting. Around 10 pm their mother had just picked them up and I went to the restroom and noticed my panties were wet again. I told my boyfriend and cleaned myself up again so we could go get food. But right after I noticed I could actually feel something coming out. At that time I knew something was going on. I called my dr and was told to go to the hospital immediately since I was positive for group b strep. I got to the hospital around 10:40 pm thanks to my boyfriend driving like the baby was about to fall out! I got checked in and was tested to see if I ruptured and if I was dilated. I did rupture and was 4.5 cm! I was kinda in shock because I knew the baby would be here sooner than I expected! I was giving the antibiotics and told to rest. August 20, 2016 I didn't sleep much. I was just ready to get it over with since I hate being in the hospital! My contractions were not persistent nor painful and I was just getting my mind ready. Around 10 am my dr came and checked me again and he said I was 5.5 - 6 cm. but the baby was still up high. He broke my water and started me on pitocin and said he was going to come back @ 12:30 to check on me. The contractions started to pick up and I waited it out for as long as I could and around 12 I decided to get the epidural. When my dr didn't make it back for 12:30 the nurse called him around 1 pm to see if he wanted her to check me. I was at 10 cm and boy did I get nervous!!!! He had us starting to push and told the nurse to give him a 15 min warning. I couldn't feel NOTHING!!! My mom, sister, best friend and the nurse were all trying to tell me how to push. My boyfriend just standing there holding my leg up when it was time to push and I was just in my own little world! My Dr. came after his 15 min warning and my baby boy was here @ 2:38 pm. I had been pushing a little over a hour and a half. As soon as he was here everyone had tears in their eyes including my boyfriend who always seems emotionless! After I brought it up about him crying he claims his eyes were just sweating 😒😒😒 FTM and I have to say I didn't expect for things to happen that fast. He wasn't out long and already being nosy!
