When is your next ultrasound after 20 weeks

If you're not high risk, when do you get another ultrasound?

Ultrasound is NOT an accutare determination of weight and in my opinion a weight check should be refused. As a doula I have seen SO many women gets scared into have a csection for a "big baby" and then baby only weighs 7-8lb.

I get one at every appointment. It's how my midwife measures and "checks on" the baby. She does this for all her patients.

For most that is the last ultrasound, but it's ultimately depends on your doctor office, so I would just ask them

My doctor knew my daughter was turned the right way. My doctor spent 2 minutes feeling my stomache and knew she was in birth position without an ultrasound.

I'm not high risk. I thought my 20 week one was my last one but I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I'll be having another one at 28-32 weeks. :)

My doctor says unless there is a need (baby may be breech, or an issue) or your pregnancy is high risk they don't do one after 20 weeks, if you have pretty normal pregnancy. maybe if you request one but not sure about your insurance or Doctor

I got my last one Monday at 38 weeks to check the baby's weight..and my boy is 6lbs 3oz💙
