Lube Advice?

Me and my Lover are in our early 20s and we have sex about 1-3 times a week.. We decided recently to spice things up a bit. We went to a shop and got some different things including some different lube. Now any other time i had sex in a previous relationship (wasnt many times but still) id never used lube before.. So here comes the problem. With the first bottle of lube me and my SO have afterwords id get symptoms of a UTI (you know.. The urges to pee, minimal comes out, then burning afterwards) but this isnt a UTI because that cant go away without medication.. But after i used that lube id get those symptoms for about a week.. Then we wouldnt use it and the symptoms would go away and everything would be fine. Well when we got this new lube from the shop we got a Glyserin based instead of water based to see if it would make things better.. Well here i sit lying in urging pain because of this stuff.. Now i dont NEED lube but it makes things work a little better.. (My man is on the rather large side not to be tmi) so it helps. Has ANYONE had this problem with lube before?? Need some serious advice here or recommendations! Thanks ladies! ❤️
