Puppy 101????

Question

Does anyone have any tips or advice on taking care of a puppy, as well as training a puppy? My boyfriend and I decided to take the puppy in to our home and I named her Honey. She's a border collie and lab mix and she is about 8 weeks old. I haven't taken care of a dog in such a long time so if anyone has any suggestions, it would be very much appreciated!

We just got a puppy about a month or so as well. Remember to be patient!!! This is number one lol. I have to remind my boyfriend that he is a baby and doesn't know better. I've been training with dog food instead of treats- so far it's been working great! Habe multiple toys to switch out (when they get bored) this can help with chewing. And the Kong is our dogs best friend! Good luck girl!

Have toys and lots of them. Keeps them out of trouble and remember to use positive reinforcement!

As cute as it is to have a puppy jump up on you you should stop this behavior young. If I remember correctly that's a fairly big sdog? So you don't want him jumping on guests
