Taken 4 days after I started sugar pills on the pill.

Why would you take a test if your on the pill?

Answer

It's normal not to start your period immediately after stopping the active pills. I was on the patch for almost 15 years and the first several years it took me three days after removing my patch to start my period and eventually my period got so light it took four days to start. If you've only recently started the pill it's normal for it to take a few cycles for your body to line up with the pill. If you don't get your period in a week you should test again though. I have a friend who missed a dose and her son turns two on Sunday
