These nurses are so rude.
*RANT* I have nothing but respect for medical personnel. My sister is a nurse, I'm an LNA, and I have several friends that are nurses. But this shift of nurses are so rude. I'm here for 24 hour testing and have been diagnosed with preeclampsia to add to the low platelets, severe anemia, and diabetes that I already had. I was told last night that there was a chance I would be delivering soon. Well, today I was told if I had any changes in how I was feeling, to let them know. So I did. First off, had a ton of mucus like discharge, which is unusual for me since I've had no discharge this pregnancy. Thought maybe it was the mucus plug but thought I should just mention it. She immediately said to me "that's not what it is. You're only 34.5 weeks." Well I lost it at 35.5 weeks with my daughter so actually yeah it could. Then I mentioned that I had pain when I urinated. She actually rolled her eyes and walked out. Another nurse came in and hooked me to the monitor and about 5 minutes later came in and was very short with me and was like "you're fine. You're not in labor. You need to find something else to concentrate on. Like bringing your blood pressure down." Yes, cause this bs is helping. Um, I didn't say I was in labor. I said it was painful to pee. I was concerned about a uti. I'm totally done telling them anything. *END RANT*
