I have been feeling pressure in my buttocks and back and having loose stool? Is that a sign I'm about to go to labor? 38 weeks 2 days

Usually real contractions start around our back and continue towards our lower abdomen. And as you're almost there, I feel your body is gearing up for the big day... Take care!

Loose stool is very common in the lead up to labour as it makes it easier for baby to move into position. And Contractions tend to start in the lower back and feel like period pains. I would say that you are probably going to be in labour within a couple of days if not sooner. Good luck.

I was in labor for 3 days, the night before I went to the hospital I had diarrhea. I had it all the way up to having the epidural. Hopefully there was nothing left me!
