heart condition
Sorry in advanced for the length. So to back the story up a little, back in March at 10 weeks pregnant I started having heart palpitations which caused and anxiety attack and since I work at the hospital the girls made me go to er. As it turns out it's totally normal for some pregnant people to have those during pregnancy. However, it did earn me trips to the cardiologist, yay!! Yesterday I had what I thought was going to be a simple visit for him to decide if it's safe for me to deliver vaginally. So he's decided that it is ok for me to deliver, but he discovered that I have tricuspid valve regurgitation. Apparently it's another normal side effect of pregnancy that some people have. Does anyone else have this issue? If so, what's being done, c section or are you delivering vaginally? My husband and I are a little scared. The cardiologist did fax my records to the Ob and I do plan on talking to her Thursday at my next appointment.
