How long should you wait to travel after having the baby?

Im having my baby boy in December and was wondering if i should travel to see my grandmother or if i should wait awhile longer. My grandmom is very old and very special to me. Id like her to meet my soon as soon as its safe for me and my baby to travel. I live in Northern New York and my grandmom is in New Jersey. Id like some feedback! ❤️

As long as the baby is healthy and you're recovered, I'd say it's fine. We took our annual beach trip when our son was 6 weeks old and it was fine. Just had to stop a lot for nursing and diaper changes...but needed to do thay anyway because we also had a toddler.
