how often to feed ?

Today marks 6 days old for Jake. All he wants to do is eat. Because he's so big (born 10lbs 15oz and discharged at 10lbs 8oz) doc said he should be at 3-4oz every feeding but he's been up looking for more every 2-3 hours... I'm starting to lose it... Is he playing with me, or could he really be that hungry? I don't want to under/over feed him but this is crazy!

At 6 days 2-3 hours between feeds is pretty normal. Their bellies are still very small and need to eat frequently.

2-3 hours is a miracle my daughter ate every hour until she hit 3 months now she eats every 2 hours. 2-3 hours is normal even when he gets older.

A baby won't overeat. They physically can't. Just feed him when he's hungry.
