Positive after MC? but spotting... HELP!

Question

I had a MC on July 22, today i got a positive test. I never got my period since my Miscarriage. I got my positive but i have a light spotting.

What can this be?

Pregnancy?? Still reading old hcg?

Im going crazy. Any experience comments would be good!

Did your doctor not redraw your labs to make sure your hcg levels were going down?

This is happening to me..... I'm so confused..... I had hcg of 184 on Wednesday the 7th with progesterone at 19 and estrogen at 100. So I went for bloodwork Monday the 12th and now the beta came back negative at 2 with progesterone at 13.2....it will be a week officially tomorrow and I took an HTP again because I figured I should get my period any day now and it came back positive. I also took opks and they are so dark even before the dye finishes running up the test strip. Is it left over hcg? I mean I went from 184 to 2! And it was 2 a week ago.... what the heck is going on?! 😓😓😓

I had this too and I got my hopes up... I did have leftover HCG until I had my next period... :(

I was 5 weeks when i miscarried. My hcg levels were only 15k by july. Then in august 11 i went again to my docs appointment and he did a endovaginal ultrasound to make sure everything was clean and it was.
