So my and SO were talking and were seriously considering to just keep having babies until we're done and not waiting. We just had our first 08/10 and we both want to have 2 more babies and don't want our kids to be super far apart. And I don't want to get nexplnon birth control if we are going to keep going. Anyways 
What advice do you ladies have on just having kids until we're done? Good idea? Bad idea? Should we wait a year or so? Any advice is welcome!

I would allow body to heal for 4-6 months first. Better chance of a healthy second pregnancy!

There is medical evidence that getting pregnant too soon increases your risks of complications such as preeclampsia, gestational diabetes, low birth weight, miscarriage/stillbirth, etc. This is why doctors recommend waiting at least 12-18 months between pregnancies.

Pregnancy, childbirth and breastfeeding take a huge amount of energy and nutrients from your body, and that doesn't come back overnight. Getting pregnant again before you've fully recovered could mean your next baby doesn't quite get all the support it needs. Yes, plenty of people do get pregnant back-to-back and have perfectly healthy babies. Just do your research and talk to your doctor before diving into anything, especially if you have ANY pregnancy risk factors (diabetes, high BMI, history of pregnancy loss, etc).

Is there really any harm in waiting a year or so? Enjoy the baby you have while he/she is little, and give your next pregnancy the best possible chance of success. Use some other kind of birth control (condoms? cycle charting?) and if an oops happens, fine. But I really think you should talk to your doctor before actively ttc again. Just my 2 cents!

My sister had her first two back to back with no complications during the pregnancies. If you have a good support system to help you out it should be fine. It's not going to be easy juggling the sleep deprivation and neediness of a newborn and a toddler, but people do it all the time. And on the upside you'll be "done" raising them before you're feeling "too old" to keep up with them.
