Doesn't matter what other people think. This isn't their baby, it's yours. This is most definitely one of those situations in which you do not owe anyone a single thing nor do you need to make them happy.
If they have a problem with it, then tell them, "thank you for your opinion, however I'm not changing that." If they get an attitude, then tell them to "fuck off"
I'm really getting tired of people thinking that they have a say in a babies name. Only mommy and SO's have a say and that's it.

Name your baby what you want. My husband and I love the name Davey and there are definitely mixed emotions from people...I wish someone would just say, "name your baby want you want and be proud...your the momma you know the name".

What do you personally think of it? Other people can comment on the name all you want but this is your child. If you love the name, that is all that matters.
