buying baby clothes in advance?

What size clothes are you buying for your little ones? I'm trying to get some stuff ahead for next spring/summer/winter but I'm not sure what sizes to buy? Any advice?

A few NB sleepers, Rompers/onesies/sleepers in 0-3, and a few summer things in 3-6 &
6-9. That's about it so far.

I've been buying,mine from thrift store and yard sales. Anywhere from newborn to a year

I've just been buying 0 up to 9 months. I've basically been buying for the season winter spring/summer based on what month he'll be. Hopefully he will grow on track and it will all fit. Like others I've avoided buying newborn anything, clothes and diapers

I bought newborn sizes - 3 months, 3-6 months, and my SIL and friends have been buying an assortment of clothes for baby girl as well. 
My friends told me to not buy alot of newborn clothes because babies outgrow them fairly quickly

Mine are mostly 3-6 months and 6-12 months. The hospital recommends to bring some clothes for baby so it's not in worn hospital gear so I'll try and find some 0-3 month onesies before D-Day that way it fits if it's a chubba 😂

I've been buying newborn to 24 months (not a whole lot in the bigger sizes, but it's hard to pass things over went thrifting)
I have the most pieces in newborn to 3 months.
Mainly lots of oneises, sleeper and some pants (like sweat pants). Babies don't need much.

I bought NB-6 mo with a few 9-12 mixed in. I haven't bought any spring/winter clothes because idk what size baby will be by then and i just met a girl whose 2 mo baby is wearing 6mo already lol
