has anyone tried to pump early and no milk is coming out?

I'm 40 weeks and 1 day pregnant. Trying to start pumping for colostrum but nothing I coming out.... I was doing nipple stimulation couple days ago and my right book leaked when I played with it but not a lot.. I'm wondering if anyone has not actually leaked while pregnant or has tried to pump and absolutely nothing come out.

I've been doing colostrum harvesting since 37 weeks as I have gestational diabetes and they say it's good to have a back up of colostrum to give instead of formula if she has low blood sugars. I didn't get anything for the first three days of trying and then on the forth day got a tenth of a ml 🙄 I've worked up to a ml now over the last few weeks and my technique is getting better but what I produce varies. The hospital recommended hand expressing as pumping for colostrum can cause damage and the amounts are so small.
