Check with your doctor. I have heard that sometimes pregnancy can bring on hypothyroidism. Make sure you get your T3/T4 levels checked. That can cause hair loss. Also, you are not necessarily losing hair; your hair enters its testing phase and doesn't start really growing again till after pregnancy. Many people experience fuller hair because it usually pauses just after a growth phase. Me? I was brushing out tons before I knew I was pregnant and I was worried I might be relapsing into an illness I had earlier! It's not enough to cause baldness. But if it bothers you, avoid a tight bun or ponytail. I cut 2.5 inches off my long hair and it looks much more full. The good news? It's shiny and glows like my skin.

Who tf said that in pregnancy you have luscious locks so thick, full and beautiful. The best your hair will ever be and look during pregnancy?? Mine has done nothing but fall out! I brush it, it comes out. I wash it, it comes out. I tie it up, it comes out. I leave it alone IT STILL FALLS OUT!!! Don't know about new borns but I will be needing the "No hair don't care" vests soon!!!!!! Please someone has got to be the same as me?? I can't be the only one?!
