So I'm about 5 weeks now and I have been taking 1000mg of metformin for a while, the past week though I have only managed to take half my dose because I'm supposed to take half in the morning and half in the evening and I've been falling asleep really early and missing the second dose. Well last night I remembered my second dose after a week of only taking half and I woke up at 1:30 with the worst cramps in my pelvic region. After using the bathroom it lessened so I could fall back asleep but I was miserable for a good while. Going to talk to my doctor about it today when I go in but would you think it was just from the metformin? Or could something be wrong with my baby?
