How to bring another baby into the family?

We have a 9 month old son and were due in Febuary. How will my son take having a baby???

He's still only 9months, I doubt he will notice much it's all about the equal attention I'm sure he will be fine and be an excellent biggish brother :-)

When you deliver have a nurse take your new born out of the room and your SO bring your other children in and talk about how the new addition to the family is here and ready to go home with you and then have the nurse bring the baby in.

All my three kids are that close (ages 4, 2.5, and 1) in age and the oldest didn't even care when his sister was born. The middle child, a girl, was happy to have a real live baby to mother when the third was born. It was seriously never a problem. Whenever we bring a new baby home, we act as if nothing out of the ordinary has happened and that helps smooth the transition for other siblings. Of course I was/am super busy, but they all are friends, most days, and self-entertain well. Don't stress about it.  My only advice is not to make a huge deal out of the baby and spend a little extra time and attention on the older sibling since baby will naturally get time and attention.
