ugh boyfriend problems

I wouldn't normally post about my aggrevation with my SO but this has really really pissed me off. So he phones me this morning saying about how he's lost his card, then rhat obviously gets us talking about money and that pay day is every Friday. He said he would transfer the money into my account. that's all fine. I casually slip in that I want to see my mum on Tuesday next week (can't right now as I have no fuel and it's a 40 minute drive) as she's going on holiday on Friday. His response is 'well by the time we've paid some rent and I've fuelled both cars we'll be skint again'. So I say to him can we not just pay £100 in rent rather than £200? --- we have very nice landlords and they know that we don't have much money and have decided to support us whilst we get our finances sorted.--- he will be paid just under £400 due to bank holiday Monday. He starts going off at me saying how we owe them money and that he said he would pay £200 a week. I said 'yes but can you not just explain that we're short this week.' I get we have to pay at some point but we literally have no food, no petrol nothing. I'm sorry if this seems wrong but paying them £100 or even £50 less will mean we can get food. My pay day is monthly and his is weekly. It's so aggravating and he doesn't understand my point of view. I get he feels awful about not being able to provide for me and this is a new job for him. Am I being wrong in getting assey that he won't give them less money so that we can buy food and I can get to work with petrol? My landlords wouldn't mind whatever they get so long as they're getting paid something each week. I get its principle but next week it can be £200 and the following weeks after that. Any advice?
