Bleeding

So I found out last week that I am 5 1/2 weeks pregnant. I had intermittent light pink spotting that turned to slightly more discharge that was brown in color. Today I am noticing more red and more frequent like a light period and need to use a liner. I am a little worried as ive never been pregnant before. Im having minimal cramping that I almost think is more gas related. No pain either. Any advice or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated as in trying to to stress
