random high blood pressure ??

Hey ladies , I'm 25 weeks pregnant.. I've never had a problem with blood pressure. But today I woke up feeling extremely weird.. I took it the first time & It was 141/100 & bpm was 130... second time was the picture below & just now was 144/96 bpm 122.... what causes an increase like that?

Do you regularly monitor with a wrist cuff? If you are comparing this reading to what you get at the Doctors office with a manual cuff/ person taking your blood pressure it may just be the wrist cuff is inaccurate! I am a nurse and we always tell our patients to stay away from wrist cuffs, I've seen more issues with them then any other type/ brand of home cuff combined!

It could be mild anxiety. It happens to me when I go for my appts but my bp is always normal at home.

Not trying to scare you but I would just go ahead n call your dr and tell them your reading.  They might want you to go in for them to check it. Mine been normal my whole pregnancy until 30 weeks and I had to be put on meds and now at 34 weeks n 6 days I've been in the hospital since yesterday for blood pressure.  It turned into preclamsia yesterday.  Hoping to keep my baby girl in at least a week to 2 more weeks. So I deff would get it checked. It could just be your cuff n could be nothing. Good luck

Sometimes it's just random,  I would say definitely take it easy,  put your feet up,  make sure you're drinking plenty of water.  Test again in a few hours and if it hasn't gone down,  call your ob/midwife.
