I need some cover up ideas!

So I got this tattoo 3 years ago when I was 18, I've never been happy with it. It's hard to read and the letters are all messed up and shaky, it's even worse in person. I'm thinking about covering it up with a feather but I also feel like that's almost my only option because of where the tattoo is.. I don't want anything to high up so I can still cover it up if I need to and I already have roses on my arm so I don't really wanna do any flowers. Any ideas for me?
