Would you go back to school at 27?

Question

I am thinking about quitting my job at the end of the year to go back to school in January. I currently work in the insurance field. I'm thinking about going for nursing or te become a teacher. Has anyone went back at this point in their life and been successful? I'm married, have a seven year old and career already.

I'm 31 and just started nursing school, have 3 kids, a full time job and a part time job. It's doable, you just have to learn how to divide your time ☺️ Good luck, you can do it!!!

I went back at 26 for dental hygiene. It was hard work but definitely worth it. I went back again at 31 to complete my BSc. I'm currently pregnant and taking some time off but I've never regretted any of my education. I should also mention that my husband is currently in Law school. He went back at 28 and has been very successful thus far.

My Bfs sisters is 28, just had her second baby when she has a two year old and she's going back to school. And she works like 60 hours a week! Her hubby is pretty much the stay at home dad so that helps, he works to being a cook at a bar. She's going for nursing as well. There's never a wrong time to go to school! Also my grandma who's 62? Is just finishing up for school😊 she says she doesn't care if something happens her soon she'll still be able to say I did exactly what I wanted to do. And I'm proud of it! And even me I'm 20, yes younger but I didn't know if I was going to go to school or not and I am now. I just started in the summer.

I did it myself. Went to one year of college originally for something that ended up being a hobby instead of a career at 17. Waited 10 years later before going to cosmetology school and am now licensed and absolutely love what I do! Everybody decides what they want to do with their life at their own pace. I've had mid 40 yr olds in my classes. I think it's pretty cool. You can go back to school anytime you want to, age doesn't matter.

Yes, absolutely go for it! If you have the means and resources you should definitely do something that will help you to fulfill your passions. You'll never regret investing in your education too!
