Has anyone gotten back with an ex and it worked out?

Has anyone broken up with someone, dated other people and then gotten back with your ex and it has worked out? Recently got back with my ex and a little nervous I really want it to work out not just for me but for our little boy on the way 😯 they say it never works out but I don't believe that's entirely true..

Yes. We were together for a short time it was long distance and he was in the military. 2 years later we got back together and got married a year and half later

It all depends on the reason.. I've only taken back 3 people and two of them ended even worse than the first time we broke up but the 3rd I ended up marrying and we are very happy

I'm currently in a relationship with an ex and things are going wonderful! Our lil boy is due in October and we couldn't be happier. This is actually our third try at a relationship that spans 20 years. I think it certainly depends on why a relationship didn't work and whether both parties have grown/changed those issues.

Yep, actually twice. Got together at 14 years old. At 16 years old he got drunk at a party and kissed another girl and I broke up. We were only separated for 2-3 months then. Got back together and were happy. At 19 I decided to work abroad for a year. He broke up with me a few weeks before I came back home. Said he lost his feelings for me during that long period of not seeing each other. Even got himself a new girlfriend. We kept in touch, were still friends. One year later we got back together again. That was 5 years ago. Getting married next year. ♡

I Never have, but I have friends who did and they tell me my saying is correct, 100%. They are ex's for a teason, remembering what it is will keep you that way.

I am currently with a guy and we have been together 2 years have a 7 month old and I'm 22 weeks pregnant. I have known him 14-15 years and we were together when we were younger and he treat me terribly. He is amazing now and it's the best thing I ever did. He's a completely different person and we are so happy. I know it doesn't really help much because we were quite young the first time but it does prove people can change. Hope that helps some x
