Alternative Contraception?

My boyfriend can't have children and he's been checked for any STI's so condoms aren't needed, but I'm on the pill, it's making me emotional, moody, I'm constantly in pain, and my period has become very dark - and I'm only bleeding for a few hours in the morning (I've also been on for 10 days now, my period hasn't stopped since I started taking the pill). I was wondering if there was any alternative options for contraception? It's all for my moms benefit so that she feels comfortable that I won't end up with a child at 16/17, I don't want anything that hurts or will give me the same side affects as the pill. I'm on Microgynon 30 and its progesterone and oestrogen hormones in the pill. Thanks in advance☺️
