When is your ideal time to do a baby shower?

Due early Feb. 2017 but the only time I could do a baby shower for myself would be after holidays, (Jan).

I'm also due in Feb. doing my shower on Nov. 13th, ours is co-ed & we're combining it w/ an open house to celebrate the home we bought & r fixing up, I wanted to do it before the holidays so hopefully more folks will be able to come
