Found out the gender because I was in a minor car accident

On Friday, as I was driving home from the grocery store, my car was rear ended. I immediately had a crazy rush of hormones and adrenaline and started crying (not over my car, but I was way worried about my baby) and probably freaked out the 17 year old boy that ran into me. After the police report was filed I called my Dr's office and they said that no matter how minor of an accident they still wanted me to come in and get checked out that day. Thankfully my husband was able to leave work and drove me to the Dr's. They got me right in for an ultrasound and I cannot tell you how incredibly relieved I was to see a heartbeat and hear that everything was fine. Also, the doctor was able to tell us the gender. Had this car accident not happened we would have had to wait another two weeks for my 20 week appointment. I'm so happy to say that we're having a boy and everything is just fine and going great for now.
