Water birth faster and less painful than regular dry birth?

Thinking about water birth, I want more information:)

I labored in the water with my first! It didn't make the pain no better for me, nor any faster

I kinda wanted a water birth with my daughter but the wouldn't let me for no reason at all. Having her on lad was fine though. I spent a lot of time walking in circles which would be hard to do in a tub.

I didn't have a water birth but I did labor in water with my 1st child. I thought it was going to be amazing but I actually hated it. Probably because I had horrible back labor from my daughter being posterior and I just didn't feel supported enough. I felt like I was floating around and couldn't get a handle on anything. Just my experience though.
