So my mom just approached my fiance and I and asked if she was going to be in the room when we deliver. She was there for my other two because their father was an actual shit. This time around I have a great man and this is his first experience with childbirth. I have already told her no but I guess she wanted to see if we were all on the same page.

She's also upset because we won't let her pick the middle name. She says that we HAVE to at least give her that since I don't want anyone else in the room. She's pretty much saying that I'm pushing her away because I keep saying no.

I love my mom- so much... but I don't think she should be trying to control our decisions.

Any opinions on how I should handle this?
