Do you think saying someone is an ugly version of you is a compliment for you? 
 
My friend told me a girl at uni is like an ugly version of me...
 
I thought it was a rude thing to say and she said its a compliment. What do you think?

I wouldn't take it as a complement because beauty is subjective. I would also be calling said friend an asshole because it says more about her with that comment then you.

I wouldn't take it as a compliment. Don't compliment me by putting another person down. That doesn't make me feel good. Don't compare us either. It's not a competition.

It was meant as a compliment but you should find people who will make you feel beautiful in much more pleasant ways.
