What to pack for baby

Question

I have had a lot of people say they didnt pack much for baby because the hospital provided a lot of it (diapers, wipes, etc).  But these were different hospitals than mine.. so how do i know mine will be like theirs.   My question to you ladies is.. are you going to pack EVERYTHING for baby just in case?  Or just pack going home outfit and hope the hospital has the rest??

Well my birthing center has most of what we will need. I am bringing a couple of onesies so I my SO can take one of them to our pups to smell. I'm bringing her coming home outfit. For me I'm bringing toiletries that I like just incase I don't like theirs, I have my own slippers, brush, 2 nursing bras, my going home outfit, boppy nursing pillow, and pads. But I'm going to use what they give me first so I can keep what I have. They have the diapers and such so I'm not too worried. I'm just packing what I have for comfort. Oh I'm bringing my own pillow as well as one for my SO.

Find out if your hospital provides the diapers and wipes, most do. I just packed clothes bc my hospital provides everything else.

I asked my midwife what the hospital would provide during my stay so that I wouldn't have all these tedious unneeded items lying around.
