My son's cord is still attached after 24 days! The hospital told me to clean with alcohol at every diaper change, so I did. Then after two weeks, his pediatrician told me it's new practice to leave it be and only clean it up once a day. Nothing is working and it still looks firmly attached when I lift up the edges. I'm so frustrated with sponge baths and folding his diapers. Any suggestions to speed up the process?
