Ivf, 43 eggs and hyperstimulation syndrome
My husband and I are trying to conceive for 5 years. I am 34 years old and I have endometriosis and polycystic ovaries. My husband is ok. Last August I had a polyp removed from my uterus and performed a laparoscopy to cauterize endometriosis. Unsuccessfully. We were advised by a great doctor here in Brazil to try in vitro fertilization. Started the procedure a few weeks ago and yesterday we collected the eggs. Were 43 follicles that yielded 33 usable eggs. 12 were fertilized and still ok on the second day.
I wonder if anyone here has come to collect a large amount of ovules how I and developed a problem as a result, such as ovarian hyperstimulation syndrome.
