God Mother?

My best friend Julia is a little irresponsible but I'd like to think that she'd get her act together.
My best friend Emily is responsible but she's a surgeon so I'm scared she wouldn't have time and it would be a burden. Honestly though both are really good candidates they both are amazing people..

God mothers aren't literally their second mother.
That's what it sounds like you think they are when you say that Emily won't "have time".
It wouldn't even be a burden.
She'd just treat your child like any other family member.
I don't know what you mean when you say irresponsible either. 
Act together for what? 
Do you not think she'd act appropriate around your child?

They're basically an auntie more than anything & aunts aren't always around & that's fine.

Why not both???
