Do you get your child the flu shot?

I have a 4 year old daughter who I never got the flu shot for before....the doctors always try me to get it for her butttttt idk lol she rarely ever gets sick maybe twice in her life so far 🙌🏻

The one time I got the flu shot, I literally got the flu 2 weeks later. I haven't had it again since and I haven't had the flu. Neither has my husband. I don't plan on getting my son the flu vaccination either. I think it's a complete waste of money. All they can do is guess which strain is going to be going around, and vaccinate for it. There are several different strains and if they don't predict it correctly, everyone will have had the wrong vaccination and still get the different flu strain. That's what happened with the big swine flu epidemic a few years ago.

I always do, but I can't get my son vaccinated this year.  But I will get my daughter vaccinated and so will I.

My daughter's pediatrician even admitted last year that the current flu shot wasn't effective against the common strain going around at that time, so it would have been useless to get the shot.

We will not be. There are plenty of ways to build up the immunity naturally. Vitamin d is one that's often overlooked, b/c everyone is focused on vitamin c. One of the reasons people get sick more often in the winter is due to lack of vitamin d. ( of course we aren't outside in the sun as often to make our own) Since we are approaching "flu season," I just started juicing specifically for immunity. Our bodies are amazing & when we truly are healthy, even if we do get the flu, it won't knock us down too much.
