anyone use evening primrose oil before?

Any one using EPO? Or used it before? 
38weeks today and I just got some,i plan on starting with 2 a day one orally and one vaginally.Did it help you?

I'm definitely ready for my baby boy to be here!

I had a LEEP procedure a few years ago, and my doula is recommending I take it orally at 36 weeks then vaginally at 38 weeks. Both her and my OB said it'll help soften the cervix in case there is any scar tissue that could get in the way of my cervix opening smoothly. I'm 34 weeks now, so I haven't started using it yet.

My midwife said it was okay to take.ive been taking 2orally and 2vaginally every day 500mg each.
It can cause a premature rupture of membranes,meaning your water could break before contractions/labor turely starts

I started mine at 36 weeks. Did it vaginally at night used two and took orally during the day. It helped me but I have heard people say it didnt help them. I was fialted 4 cm at 37 and had him before 38 weeks.

If you read up on this oil it actually states it is not safe for use in pregnancy. Can lead to bleeding complications, actually sounds pretty scary!

What does that help for? Im 38 weeks yesterday and soctor said my cervix still close. Should i take that? Or wait for the cervix to start dialating. ?
