We just had our first baby last night via C section, I'm still in a lot of pain, loaded up on all types of drugs, and using a catheter... My husband has stepped up all the way from making sure her diapers are changed to making sure she's fed formula and burped. Last night, he wouldn't even the night nurse take care of her so he could sleep... He just held her until he fell asleep tonight. It's the same thing today, he doesn't want our baby to be out of the room and prefers that I sleep while he stays up to watch her! Just when I didn't think it was possible to fall in love with my husband again, just watching him be with our daughter and taking care of the both of us has made me fall in love with all over again.
