High risk pregnancy question
Yesterday I went to the high risk doctor and found out that the umbilical cord is wrapped around my baby's neck 3 times. The doctor seemed pretty laid back about it and said my baby may or may not be fine for a vaginal delivery but to talk to my regular OB and see what she is comfortable with. She wants me to see the high risk doctor once a week, her twice a week for a NST and try to hold out for 2 and a half more weeks until I'm at 39 weeks to do a c section. Because my baby can strangle himself while still in the womb, I have been instructed to watch his movements hourly. I didn't sleep a wink and I've never been more anxious. I'm so nervous I'm going to miss something or act too late. Anyone else have this happen? What were the outcomes?
