Spotting and yeast infection?

Can a yeast infection cause cramping and spotting? I have had cramps and spotting on and off since 5w2d and I am now 7w1d and was diagnosed with a yeast infection yesterday. The doc did not say whether or not the two had anything to do with each other. Just hoping anyone had some insight!

Yeast infection can cause cramping. I'm not sure about the spotting but if you're dr is aware and isn't concerned, don't worry too much unless it becomes worse. Cramping is a normal part of pregnancy, especially early on. Spotting happens to alot of pregnant women as well. Keep an eye on it and try not to stress :)
