The story of my pregnancy so far

Koda
I'm 17 and my partner is 19. We got pregnant after being together for only about 5 months. But everything really worked out perfectly. Just before we got pregnant I dropped out of school due to anxiety and PTSD issues, and started on the journey of getting my High School Equivalency Diploma. We had also just started working on moving in together when we found out we were pregnant. So again, it worked out very well.
In anticipation of having a baby, my partner decided he needed a higher paying job. So he left his horrible job at Wendy's (his boss was basically abusive to him and really put him in a bad state emotionally) and began his dream career working as a mechanic. Having a baby was the little push he needed to take that risk and get himself out of a bad situation that he had endured for years.
We moved in together on January 26th, my 17th birthday. We spent the holidays together and our love for one another grew. Being together so often, we quickly learned a lot about one another and learned to respect eachother and cooperate. We quickly created an equal lifestyle that makes us both happy.
Prior to moving in together we did a lot of arguing, but that cleared up 100% other than a few tiny disagreements here and there.
Now that we are 6 days overdue for our baby to be born, we have completely rearranged our room to look nice, provide optimum comfort, and we've developed a good system for keeping the place clean. We live with his parents so we have to keep baby in our room for now, but we've managed to fit our bed, a pack and play with built in changing table and bassinet, a recliner, a computer/tv, a microwave, a mini fridge, a trash can, a Keurig, and two dressers (one for us, one for baby) among many other things all in one average sized bedroom!!! We practically have our own apartment. I couldn't ask for a better situation right now.
My partner and I have only gotten wayyy more lovey and cuddly and happy in these past few weeks. We're both incredibly happy to be starting a family together. He's been nesting like crazy, installing a fire extinguisher in our room, cleaning the entire basement just to make the fire escape window more accessible, and buying a recliner for me to lay in post partum, and he even bought me a ton of snacks to keep me happy while I'm recovering. His daddy instincts are through the roof. He's constantly talking about the baby and the things he's gonna do with him and rubbing my belt and making sure I'm comfortable and pampering me from head to toe... <3 How could I not be so in love with this man? I couldn't ask for a better partner.
