So I've seen so many people on here asking if they should go to the ER or L&D. At my office, there is a midwife on call that I call before doing anything like going to the hospital. Don't all offices do this? Don't you call your doctor or midwife before deciding to go to the hospital or ER for any reason?  I answer a lot of these questions with: call your doctor....but maybe that's not an option for everybody? I'd think doctors would want to know if their patient went to the ER with a pregnancy related problem or if they are in labor...idk. Genuinely curious. Thank you! 😊
