We are driving 8+ hours to my baby shower and I plan on making a well put together registry with a few stores on it.

I keep seeing people say how no one fallows the registry anyways.

Should I just leave whatever I know I want use or don't want at my in-laws to be returned? I don't want to be rude but I also don't want to take up valuable room in the car for things that will still be getting returned.

(I'm really not trying to be rude she insisted on throwing me a shower and its costing us 400+$ in gas and we both have to use two vacation days for the trip) my mom is also throwing me a shower back home.
