Did you make a formal announcement of your pregnancy on social media?

If you did not announce, what was your reason?

No I think it's tacky and attention seeking. Anyone who really knows me in real life will know I'm pregnant. Or if I happen to get tagged in a pic and I'm 9 months pregnant then people will know. I don't need a "look at me" post

I'm just making an announcement once baby is born. I don't want people in my business this time around. Everyone doubted my natural birth, cloth diapering, breastfeeding, baby wearing plans. And yet I did it all and never had any problems. Don't want any negative people telling me I won't succeed in those things this time around because now I have two kids. People just like to tear each other down. 😒

The circumstances surrounding my pregnancy are a bit sketchy so I won't announce until she is born. I'm already anticipating things to hit the fan after that. Only the important ppl know all the details.

I didn't post anything. I was going to after we found out gender, but then I decided against it. For some reason it just feels more personal and special to me that all my acquaintances are not in my business. Everyone thinks I'm weird, but that's the way I want it. I do expect that I'll want to post pictures after he arrives though. 🙂

I decided not to post, had a previous pregnancy that did not progressed over 2 years ago, wich I posted and I  this time think I kinda wanted to.keep it to our selves, my husband does not have a fb and he doesn't care much about it, so that made it easyer, most important and close familly and frends knew pretty soon thoug

I don't use my Facebook for much. Started off just too nervous to 'jinx' our news and then have to explain to a friend of a friends work colleagues boyfriends nan etc. So we told friends and family separately. Then as time went on just didn't post anything. We got married on Sat at 37weeks and put a few pics up for close friends to see and it was kinda obvious then.

We did but only because we told our parents and they had started letting it slip to other people and as it's a personal subject we thought it best to be something that was announced by us before our parents gossiping spread it round to everybody. 🙄 I don't think there's anything wrong with announcing on Facebook though, especially if it's the quickest way to let your family and friends know and you're happy to do so! 😊

No reason honestly. It's unnecessary we just did it. I didn't do it until 5 months in.

My husband actually announced it.. I didn't know till it popped up with me tagged in the post.. he waited till we told all our family but he was just so excited he had to tell all his friends and family.. I thought it was sweet 😁
