I've eaten it cold countless times my entire pregnancy lmao. In fact had a roast beef sandwich for lunch. My doctor is not concerned. Just eat it you'll be fine!

Have had a few grilled cheese with ham or turkey... Just isn't the same! :( Lol Had a baby nearly die here locally because the mom unknowingly ate something with listeria (the bacteria in question which makes lunch meat and such unsafe for pregnancy) fortunately, they were able to treat the baby quickly enough!!!

I am a teacher and I've had to eat cold sandwiches all week because we are on a week long "field trip" and there is no place to heat up lunch. I've eaten deli meat in both pregnancies without problems but if it worries you, you can hear the meat until it is steaming (20 seconds) and let it cool so that it is still a cold sandwich.
