How long did it take you to conceive after laparoscopy to remove endometriosis?

We went for IVF about 5 months after my lapro. I had stage IV endo and what they out as "an extreme case" cause it was on my other organs too but 8 months later I am 12 weeks pregnant! Endo sucks bc they don't know if it will come back or not :( stay positive always!!

My doctor is 99% sure I have endometriosis and is thinking I probably have pcos as well. We've been ttc 4 1/2 years!

Our doc swore we would be in 3 months but never happened. So, we moved to ivf after iui, hormones and surgery.

I had a lap in June 2013 for endo. I then had a second in May 2014. After the second lap I started IVF meds 2 days later and got preg that round, about 6-8 weeks later.

I'm not sure why you've had a lap or what your issues are. But I had the lap to remove endo and explore fertility issues and then again to see if endo came back as pain was back. In all of that I was diagnosed with adenomyosis and polycystic ovaries as well as endo, so that's why I didn't conceive naturally after the first lap. We also had male factor too with low numbers, so that didn't help.

I had a D&C with my first lap only and my first cycle was a but longer than normal but after that was back to normal. No change after the second lap with my cycle and I didn't have a D&C - my period was due to start 2 days after the lap and it did.
