2nd chemical update
I started spotting Thurs evening, followed shortly by a full blown flow. I still went to get my 2nd beta done Friday morning and my Doc was able to fit me in for a follow up, thankfully. He said Wed.'s hcg numbers came back at 9 & progesterone was .8 He's thinking low progesterone could be my problem, but it may not be, since it's a difficult thing to pinpoint. Prescribed me to Prometrium. He suggested we take a break this cycle & next, so I can have a prime lining & start again inFeb. Then, once I get a +hpt to start the Prometrium. He said this may not work if progesterone isn't the problem, but trying it won't hurt. If it doesn't work & we have another chemical, he will then do the full work up of testing. But because testing expensive, he wants to try this first. Hopefully he is correct &this is the issue! I've been trying to educate myself on other possibilities just in case. It's hard not to think that something could seriously be wrong, even though that may not be the case. Hubby and I are just trying to relax. Still hopeful though.
