I just had my son six days ago (16th) after what seemed like FOREVER! Now I'm sitting here crying because he's six days old already. His cord fell off today so we were going to give him his first real bath but I started balling realizing this is our last baby and it seems like he's already growing so fast. I decided to hold off on the bath until tomorrow 😂 because I'm not ready to write off another "first". Point of the post being I know you're sick of waiting, I've been there, but think about it this way...the second that baby is born his/her life begins. And it will never slow down. Before you know it you will have a four year old! So enjoy these last few moments of having them inside where time has not started yet 💙 they are safe in there and not vulnerable. They are still a part of your body and I hope you cherish it because it will be gone very soon 😩 and you might just turn into a hot hormonal mess like me six days later!
