Please do your very best to unlearn your ignorance. Realize that you weren't born prejudiced, you were born into a prejudiced society that essentially, as a whole, rewrote, watered down, overlooked and falsified African American history within our country. I urge you, for your own benefit, please learn the truth of this nation... this woman can help you, her name is Jane Elliot (www.JaneElliot.com) I've provided this resource for you, though it is not my job (or any POC)  to teach you about your own expressed or implied racism. And if you choose not to investigate, research and tune into something other than Tomi Lahren Or Fox News... no big deal! You have what's called, an emotional commitment to ignorance! It's not like POC haven't been dealing with your negligence for hundreds of years! We're pretty well versed in "white privilege" by now. But your sit down & shut up mentality is being challenged, and though it may make you very uncomfortable, at least you don't have a reduced quality of life because of the color of your skin. And if you get pulled over, comply with police orders and act in a respectful manner (or not!) you will NOT get shot! That's right! Wipe that brow, no need to sweat! You were born WHITE, remember?
