Membranes stripped question???

Has anyone had their membranes stripped while only dialted to 1cm and have it work? How dialted were you to have it actually work for you?

lol I had it done 3 times last year with my daughter and still went 2 weeks overdue and had to be induced.Dont get your hopes up too much,if your body and baby  isn't ready I don't think it will work

My friend had it done and she said it hurt really bad and yes it helped go faster. She had her baby two days later I believe

I was barely dialated and my doc stripped my membranes on the morning ofmy due date at my 40 week appointment. My water broke that evening (about 12 hours later). And baby was born about 12 hours after that! 😊

I was 1-2 cm dilated the day before my due date. My midwife stripped my membranes in the office and I started having contractions that afternoon. My daughter was born the next morning, on her due date.

No I don't think a woman should rush her body. If you are only 1 cm, your body is clearly not ready yet.
