Rh negative?

Can anyone tell me what has to be done when I am Rh negative? All my doctor has told me so far is that I will have to get a shot at some point... But it's kinda worrying me. I am 14 weeks today. Are there any Rh negative moms out there can help me?

You don't have to worry. You will get a shot sometime around 28 weeks or so. And then once the baby is born, if the baby has a positive blood type then you'll get the shot again and so will the baby. If the baby is negative, then you won't need a shot at all.

Definitely don't stress yourself out. I am rh- and have had to get the shots with all my pregnancies, including my current one. After each delivery I got the shot again and all turned out good.

I had a miscarriage in March 2016, and had to get the rhoGAM shot. Them in May 2016, I found out I was Preggo with triplets. I miscarried 2 of them around 13 weeks of pregnancy, and had to get another rhoGAM shot immediately when they found out, to protect the last baby. Ive had two kids on my 3rd. You get a shot at 28 weeks, then one after your birth depending what babies blood type is. It helps for future pregnancies. Yours and babies blood are not mixed while its growing but during labor baby and your blood can if your baby is a positive then your rh- says oh there's a foreign substance and goes on attack which will make future pregnancies difficult because your body will create antibodies to fight. So that rogaine shot plays a roll.
